1. Information we collect

• Account data: email, display name, avatar (from Google Account if you sign in with Google), and your login method (email/password or Google).
• Project data: projects you create in IdeaPanner — product name, website URL, product type, stage, goal, and description.
• Audit data: audit results, launch scores, issue lists, tasks, 7-day launch plans, and AI assistant conversations produced from the URLs you enter.
• Usage data: anonymous usage analytics (e.g. Vercel's anonymous telemetry) with no personal identifiers.

2. How we use this information

• Service delivery: run website audits, generate launch scores, prioritized tasks, 7-day plans, and AI answers.
• Account management: registration, sign-in, password reset, and detecting duplicate accounts.
• Security & compliance: abuse detection, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
• When an AI key is configured (optional), we send audit context and your question to Anthropic or OpenAI for qualitative analysis & plan generation — per their respective privacy policies.

3. Data sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when:

• You give us explicit consent.
• Trusted third parties essential to running the service (e.g. Vercel for hosting; Supabase for persistence — MVP uses local/production-grade stores depending on deployment).
• We are legally compelled via valid subpoena or applicable law.

4. Data storage

We protect your data with industry-standard measures (TLS in transit; encrypted-at-rest). No internet transmission is 100% secure.

5. Cookies and similar tech

IdeaPanner uses a minimal set of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in (los_session), remember your language (los_lang) and theme (los_theme). Sign-in sets secure, httpOnly session cookies. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, and delete your account and personal data.
• Export your projects and audit data.
• Close your account — we will delete relevant data within a reasonable timeframe, except where legally required to retain it.

7. Children's privacy

IdeaPanner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted prominently with a new "Last updated" date.
