App Idea Generator
Type a group of people or a hobby. Get 5 app ideas, each tied to a real Reddit post where someone asked for a fix.
How it works
- 01
Type what you know
An industry, a job or a hobby. Ideas are easier to sell when you already understand the people.
- 02
Read the evidence
Each idea links to the Reddit post it came from. Open it, read the replies, see if the pain is real.
- 03
Check the demand
Send an idea to IdeaPanner to see whether people search for it and who holds Google's first page.
Why start from complaints?
Most idea generators ask an AI to imagine products, and you get ideas nobody asked for. Starting from a post where someone describes a problem in their own words gives you a real person, a real situation and a thread full of others saying “same here”. It's not proof that people will pay, but it's a far better first step than a guess.

Questions
Where do the ideas come from?
From 686 Reddit posts written in September 2026 across 25 communities, where people asked for help, asked for a tool or complained. We pick the posts that match what you typed, and AI turns the most concrete problems into ideas. Each idea shows the post it came from.
Are the ideas validated?
No. A Reddit post proves someone has the problem, not that enough people will pay. Use “Check if people search for it” to see search demand and who already ranks on Google's first page.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up to generate ideas. Checking an idea in IdeaPanner needs a free account.
How often is the post list updated?
Once a month. The current list covers September 2026.
